BELARUSIAN PARTICIPANTS FOLLOW UP

BELARUS

Description of follow up activity

Belarusian team after the project "PIMPRO - Power of the improvisation" made an event called "Improvisational Morning". The event was held on 17th December for belarusian youth.

The event was dedicated to the art of improvisation and work with the body. In the process, we did exercises on the self-awareness of one's body and its sensation in space, concentration on the things around us, also theatrical practices were carried out. The participants created stories based on objects, situations, someone's behavior. We actively used the rules of improvisation (especially "Yes, and"), which we learned during the project.

After the main part of the event a small evaluation was done. Participants of "Improvisational Morning" really liked the activity and became more interested in improvisation and developing of soft skills.

The project was intensive and bright for me. The perfect combination of educational content and practice. I admire the professionalism of the coach and the level of organization of the process. The accommodation, the material, the idea of the project, the way of teaching - all this was at a high level. I really appreciate the opportunity to be there, because it is a unique opportunity for Belarusians. Filled with motivation, desire, knowledge, impressions and gratitude.

When I went to this project. I didn't even think that we would perform in the amphitheater, that we would have such an interesting program every day and energisers like in kindergarten. From which everyone laughed, but they gave everyone a smile and a relaxed state from which they did not want to sleep. I liked the method of encouragement that no one could do badly. Even if mistakes were pointed out they always said that it turned out well. I'm insanely glad that the European Union is doing such projects as Erasmus+. They give a new life.

During the project "PIMPRO - Power of Improvisation" which took place in Pissouri, Cyprus, I had a great overall experience of meeting inspiring people, making useful connections and experiencing a new country.

I learnt speaking in front of a bigger audience on the bigger level by performing in little speeches, theatrical scenes and group work presentations.

We had to be creative in numerous ways - discovering new ways of problem-solving, moving our bodies, for instance during the energizers, and speaking out loud. Everyone was given the chance to express themselves, which I found greatly motivating. I wasn't afraid to say what I think, because I knew that everyone's opinion including mine was welcome, and nobody was excluded. The most important activities for me were the national evenings, where our group presented Belarus and we got to know other countries, the presentations of our local NGO's and the future-planning activity.

Everything helped me to grow, and I am very thankful for the experience of participating in this project.

When I went to the project «PIMPRO", I expected it to be interesting, but it turned out to be more than just interesting. It was an unforgettable experience. The trainers offered us a wide variety of activities, so that everyone could show their strengths. This project gave me more confidence. The training part was very intensive and informative. It was also very important to interact and get to know different people from different cultures. Cultural evenings helped us get to know each other better and to unite. Pissouri itself and its nature left an incredible impression. A particularly valuable experience for me was the activity in the ancient amphitheater.
